Accreditations & Affiliations Accreditations NCFE Awarding Body We are an approved centre of NCFE, Centre number 9001055 NCFE can trace their record of working with colleges and other training providers back to our founding organisation, the Northern Union of Mechanics’ Institutes (NUMI), established in 1848. NCFE’s earliest incarnation held lofty ambitions. Its first report declared its intention to “become a centre from whence the elements of knowledge and civilisation shall go on with an unceasing progress, conferring intellectual, scientific and moral blessings throughout the length and breadth of the Northern Counties.” From 1920, the Northern Counties Technical Examinations Council (NCTEC or ‘Northern Counties’ as it became affectionately known) supplanted NUMI and was supported by nine Northern Local Education Authorities, providing examinations for technical colleges, schools, and other centres for over sixty years until 1981. ATHE Awarding Body We are an approved centre of ATHE, Centre number 9080 ATHE is a global awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual and other UK and international regulators. We work with 250 recognised centres in over 50 countries to complement our strong brand presence in the UK. ATHE offers an extensive portfolio of vocationally orientated and internationally recognised qualifications – such as business and management, law, computing, and healthcare, with many eligible for UK funding. We also have a diverse range of regulated bespoke qualifications for clients through our qualification’s development service. ATHE qualifications are approved as progression pathways to relevant Bachelor’s and Master’s Top-Up degrees by a growing number of UK and international universities, providing significant tertiary education opportunities for our learners. OTHM Awarding Body We are an approved centre of OTHM, Centre number 7236 OTHM is a UK based Awarding Organisation regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation). It provides a wide range of qualifications including management, leadership, and hospitality, among others, that are designed to meet the needs of learners and employers worldwide. OTHM qualifications are widely recognised by higher education providers and employers, facilitating progression to further studies and career opportunities globally. ASIC We are ASIC approved college. Center number: AS85842/0318 BritPathway is accredited by Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC) which is an independent body providing accreditation services for independent, further and higher education colleges. ASIC accreditation helps students and parents make a more informed choice and will also help a school, college, university, training provider or distance education provider, demonstrate to the international student body that they are a high quality institution.
