The objective of the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management qualification is to support learners’ development as managers within the tourism and hospitality industry. This qualification enables learners to develop knowledge of management theories applicable to the industry, make informed decisions, and manage work areas confidently.
The Level 4 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management develops learners’ abilities in various managerial skills such as analytical and evaluative techniques, problem-solving, creativity, and decision-making. It also enhances their awareness of managerial, organizational, and environmental issues within the tourism and hospitality sector.
Learners have access to the LCPS online portal for study materials, assignments briefing, and an online library. They can interact with tutors to support their learning.
This Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management Level 4 programme is accredited by Ofqual Awarding Body (OTHM).

For entry into the Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management qualification, learners must possess a relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 3 Award/Diploma or at the level of GCE/GCSE or equivalent qualification. Learners must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course.
Successful completion of the Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management qualification provides learners with opportunities for academic progressions, including the OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Graduates are eligible to gain direct entry into the second year of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree programme.
Assessment is via assignment submission. There are no exams.
